We all have or know someone like my dear Auntie Beryl.

My favourite Auntie, Beryl is a bloody treasure.

With her coke bottle glasses hanging on a librarian glasses chain, her ever present perm (her hair never left the 80s!), a smile as wide as anyone you will ever meet and the warmest loving hugs, Auntie Beryl is a big softie.

Growing up she would umpire backyard cricket games, glass of Riesling in tow. Later in the afternoon, we’d all watch Cool Runnings or some other corny PG Disney movie whilst eating her famous apple pie, extra cinnamon.

She loves her prized Gladiola bushes, almost as my as she loves Johnny Farnham.

Auntie Beryl is a character with a heart of gold. She is a true unsung hero – deserves every nice word spoken about her.

What’s Inside The Auntie Beryl Mattress

QUILTING FABRICS

The top quilting layer is a luxurious hard-wearing Cashmere knitted fabric, soft to the touch yet extremely durable.
The side fabric is high-end knitted black and light grey sofa fabric – a unique and bold design for a pocket spring mattress.

A PREMIUM EUROTOP

The Thick Eurotop (Box Pillowtop) has 3 premium foam layers inside it. The top layer is Gel Infused Memory Foam, a soft-feeling foam which moulds comfortably to your unique body shape. Millions of beads of Medical Cooling Gel have been infused into the Memory Foam to regulate your body temperature nicely.

The middle layer is Memory Foam. The same feel as described above, minus the cooling gel. Having two memory foam layers rather than a middle latex layer is what makes this mattress the softest in The Ducks Nuts collection.
The plush high density foam layer is what gives this mattress its medium-plush feel.

7 ZONE POCKET SPRING SYSTEM

Below the three premium layers in the Eurotop is a 22cm, 7 Zone Pocket Spring System with re-inforced edge support. A 7 zone mattress is designed to give you firmer support in the areas of your body which need it (Head, Lumbar region, Knees and Feet) and is slightly softer in other areas (Shoulders, Hips and Calves) which allows these areas of your body to sink deeper into the mattress for added pressure relief.
